In 2006 I embarked on a new adventure...becoming a mom. This blog is about the pregnancy, aspects of life afterward, starting my life in a new role as mommy...and anything else in between.

Aaahhh...I have so MANY things to comment on, where do I begin? Let's starts with celebrities.

Britney Spears needs a therapist...FAST. She needs rehab too. I CANNOT believe she shaved her head and got 2 more tattoos. To me it's self-mutilation. It's a way for her to release psychological pain she has collected from the last few years. From a clinical perspective, she's gone through too many major life stressors in the last couple of years (getting married, having 2 babies, moving, getting divorced) and it has resulted in her having an adjustment disorder. When you have an adjustment disorder, you do the self-destructive things she is doing - partying like crazy, drinking, and engaging in extreme behaviors. It's the only way she can feel things. I really hope this poor girl gets some help fast. She is going to lose those children if she doesn't get it together. I feel so bad for her little boys - after having Naveen and knowing how much attention kids need, I can't believe she leaves them to go out partying. She's missing out on the beautiful, amazing things that children too and she's never going to get those moments back. GET SOME HELP GIRL! YOUR KIDS NEED YOU!

Now let me comment on the Anna Nicole Smith story. People need to leave the whole topic alone. It's such a sad, sad story and I'm so SICK of hearing about it. It's ridiculous how much coverage it's getting and the sad part is that there is only person truly suffering through all of this: her baby. Her poor baby girl has lost her mother and her half-brother and will probably never know who her father really is. I really don't think it's that snarky Howard K. Stern. He's just a money-hungry nobody who was obsessed with Anna Nicole and her money. The rest of the freaks just want her money. It's so ridiculous. The only person that I think might really be the father is Larry Birkhead. Anyway, LEAVE IT ALONE PEOPLE. It's such a horrible story with a horrible ending. Nothing good is going to come out of it b/c it's laden with bad intentions from so many people.

So let's discuss a happy topic - Naveen's baptism. Naveen was baptized last Saturday the 17th. It was a nice ceremony and Naveen was such a good boy!! Whenever the priest would talk to him, he would actually look at the priest and coo at him. It was so cute! Chris's sister Carrol is his godmother and my brother is his godfather. I've put some pictures here and of course there are a lot more pictures at www.naveendsa.com. We had a nice luncheon afterward with family. It was a nice day and Naveen looked very cute. He's now officially a bi-religion baby: Hindu and Catholic. We've decided to raise him knowing both religions. He can pick which one he is happy with when he gets older.
